Blackpool Tower

Blackpool Tower opened on 14th May 1894, and has been a staple of Blackpool tourism ever since. The tower is just over 518ft, this provides an amazing viewing platform over the promenade and can be reached by lift. At 380ft they have a "Walk of Faith" which is not for the faint hearted, this is a two inch glass panel that looks straight down to the Promenade below. Those with a thrill for heights and a love of photography can walk 2 sets of stairs to 450 feet and see for miles.

The Towe is also home to the World famous Ballroom, from compitions to Strictly Come Dancing anyone with a love of the art of dancing is in the right place here. Still housing a Wurlitzer Organ from 1935 and beautiful decor throughout, a chance to visit here shouldnt be missed.
